Industrial
Davison Transport, a $2.6M project by Ruston architect Mike Wampole, was recently completed at the Port of Shreveport-Bossier.

Construction on Grey Woolf Trucking begins this spring.

Louisiana Machinery’s previous location at I-12 and Airline in Baton Rouge will be undergoing a facelift as it converts from sales to a Caterpillar rental facility.

Louisiana Machinery's newest location on Airline Drive in Prairieville expands the company's Caterpillar service in the Baton Rouge market. The 37,000 square foot design-build structure features a sales and service center. Brown Builders previously built Louisiana Machinery's branch locations in Alexandria and Bossier City.

Worship Centers
The Central Assembly of God in Haughton, Louisiana, held dedication ceremonies in June for their multi-use family life center, church, chapel, administrative offices, and Sunday School classrooms.

Schools
Construction is underway on the $7.8 million Legacy Elementary in north Bossier City, planned for completion in time for classes in the fall of 2008. The school consists of three classroom wings, a seperate wing for administrative and library, and a pre-engineered building to house the cafeteria and gymnasium.

Work has started on the nearly $30M new Parkway High School in South Bossier near Sligo Road. The 200,000 sq. foot two-story structure was designed by Slack, Alost Architects and includes 3 wings with cafeteria, music, gymnasium and food service, and a separate field house. The school will be completed in time for fall 2009 classes.

Retail
Best Buy is going up at the PecanLand Power Center in Monroe with plans to be open in May. Stirling Properties' retail center opened Fall of 2007, includes a PetSmart, Best Buy, Bed Bath & Beyond, Ross, Shoe Carnival, Catherine’s, Lane Bryant, Capital One Bank and more.

Multifamily
The Reserve at Squirrel Run is a luxury 180 unit multi family development featuring a clubhouse, pool and business center located amidst a beautiful golf course setting in New Iberia, Louisiana. The $12 million project designed by The Architectural Studio in Baton Rouge begins leasing in July.

Montclair Park Assisted Living in Shreveport held a groundbreaking in February for the $3.5M. 32,000 square foot addition, which includes ten memory care units and 29 assisted living units.

The Glen Retirement System, a continuing care retirement community that had been dedicated to meeting the needs of Shreveport-Bossier for 110 years, plans to expand their services with construction active in the fall on Village Health Care.
